  I searched well at many other storage facilities both in Melbourne and Ballarat for storage of goods sent periodically from London by my daughter. These goods included many valuable antiques that required not just safe storage from theft but safety from heat damage. This facility is unrivaled in this regard. As for service from staff I could not have been served better. All have been willing to help me as to parking and placement of my goods. when vacating I was told how to proceed correctly. We stored goods for 6 years, The goods where never damaged and everything was safe.

  I shopped around for a small storage unit a couple of years back. SK Mitcham quoted the cheapest, and were very helpful on moving in. A couple of months later, they increased my fee by 5% to 'bring it in line with what other people are paying'. Since then, there have been 2 further 10% increases annually. I know costs go up, but 10% per year is excessive, and once your stuff is there they know you are more likely to wear the extra cost than bother to move it somewhere else. My advice when considering SK Mitcham is to ask for some kind of guarantee on the price you will be paying, and how often and much the increases will be.

  Services I received from Storage King Mitcham has been excellent. The two storage rooms I rented are clean and the venue is well lighted. The Store Manager Ash was my first contact. When I was unsure what storage capacity I required, Ash offered and visited my house to estimate my storage requirement. His recommendation has been proven to be very accurate. I get to know another staff Bryon at the Mitcham office through subsequent visits. Byron has been great to deal with, always very helpful and courteous.
